TAG Clock provides an employee time clock solution using SMS and location services available to registered users and subscribed mobile devices. The employee uses SMS to clock in and out of their shift, while the service locates their phone to verify the location of the employee. By opting into TAG Clock, the employee agrees to receive pre-written SMS messages from TAG code 84847 and understands that consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Important Message about your Cellular Provider (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and others). This is not a Cellular Provider application. If you use this application, it may require your Cellular Provider to disclose your customer information, including Mobile Phone Location Information, to the application provider or some other third party. By providing your consent, you authorize your Cellular Provider to disclose your information to third parties to enable this application. Check the application’s terms of use and the policies for more information about how the application will collect, access, use or disclose your information. Terms of use and other policies usually are available on the application provider’s website. If you aren’t comfortable with the application’s policies, don’t use it. You acknowledge and agree that (1) your relationship with the application provider is separate from your relationship with your Cellular Provider; (2) your Cellular Provider is not responsible for this application; and (3) you will hold harmless your Cellular Provider and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns from any judgments, claims, actions, losses, liabilities or expenses arising from or attributable to this application or the acts or omissions of the application provider.

Program Terms and Conditions

The SMS messages in this program are standard rate messages and Message and data rates may apply. The registered user will receive one SMS message per query. By opting in the user has given permission to turn on location positioning services on the device. At any time, the user can cancel this service by opting out via SMS or contacting their payroll manager. The user will receive an SMS message reminder of subscription once every thirty days.

SMS is used for confirmation of opt-in/registration, opt-out/cancel (STOP), help message responses, accrued time off requests and to clock in and out of a shift.

How do you Opt-Out of the service?

You may opt out of the location based service at any time through two methods:

1) Text the word STOPTAG to 77039. This will stop all location based requests from going to your account when you clock in and out.

2) Have your payroll manager remove your cell phone number from your account. This will make sure that you are no longer allowed to access the time and attendance features and are therefore no longer associated with TAG’s location-based services.

What does TAG do?

TAG uses location based information to verify a user’s exact location for purposes of time and attendance. When you opt-in to our service we collect location information to verify the latitude and longitude when you are clocking in or out of the time and attendance system. We use this information to check your location against the home coordinates of either: the jobsite you are supposed to be located at, or the home locations of your corporate office. This privacy notice explains how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information as well as the choices you have if you choose to participate in the mobile services of TAG Employer Services.

How do you Opt-In to our service?

In order to opt-in to the service your cell phone number must be associated with your account on Webpay. Your payroll manager must enter the cell phone number into Webpay and associate it to your account, and then provide you with TAG’s code for texting. In order to opt in to the location based services you can text the word TAG to the code.

When will we collect personal information from your device?

TAG only requests personal information from your device when you request a clock in or a clock out from your employer through the texting system.

What Personal Information do we collect from your device?

When you clock in or out on TAG’s system we collect the following information:

Location Data: If you opt-in to our location services we will collect the latitude and longitude of your current location if your phone’s services are enabled to allow location requests.

How do we use your personal information?

We use the personal information from your device to ensure that you are in the correct location while requesting time from your employer. Attendance information is only shared with your immediate manager, and any administrators associated with your immediate organization. This information is stored with the requested ‘in’ or ‘out’ to make sure that you are at the correct location while requesting time from your employer, and with mobile operators for the purpose of troubleshooting

Do we share your personal information with other companies?

TAG does not share any location-based information with any third parties. As such, your location data will not be shared with anyone or used for any purpose other than its intended use.  We only share non-location based personal information with authorized vendors associated with your employer.

How long do we Keep Location Based Information?

Your aggregated location data will be stored with your time and attendance records until you are terminated with the associated organization, or your organization ceases to do service with TAG Employer Services.

What Security Controls does TAG Use?

TAG has an information security program with administrative, physical and technical controls designed to protect your Personal Information. All Personal Information is sent to TAG servers over an encrypted data channel and is stored according to industry standard practices for data security and protection. All of our data is stored on secure servers within the USA.

Can TAG Change this Privacy Notice?

From time to time, we may update this Privacy Notice to reflect new or different privacy practices. We will place a notice online when we make material changes to this the Privacy Statement. Additionally, if the changes will materially affect the way we use or disclose previously-collected Personal Information, we will notify you about the change by sending a notice to the email address associated with your account. You will then have an opportunity to discontinue participation in the TAG Texting system.
